Wasatch Resource Recovery Project

A Engineer/Procurement/Construct delivery method project. Alder partnered with AQUA Engineers to provide the design and construction services on this project. This project is a state of the art facility that will take a significant amount of organic waste generated along the Wasatch Front and convert it into renewable natural gas through anaerobic digestion. Construction includes a reception facilities (FOG, Liquid Waste, Food Waste), one hydrolysis tank, one FOG tank, two 2.5 mg insulated bolt steel tanks, two digesters, one digestate tank, one pessate tank, a ammonia and phosphous recovery equipemnt, dewatering and chemical facilities, gas conditioning system, a boiler building, and all associated equipment. Sitework. Two natural gas generators. Extensive electrical work.
