Quinns Junction WTP Short Term Improvements Project

Alder Construction Company has been selected as a Construction Manager/General Contractor to provide construction services for process and facility upgrades at the Quinn’s Junction Water Treatment Plant using the CM/GC delivery method. The QJWTP Upgrades project includes various process and facility upgrades and modifications. These include the addition of a GAC contactor and MnOx contractors to the existing treatment process system including steel vessels, media, piping, chemical systems, backwash systems, circulation pumping, air scour blowers and piping system; Miscellaneous process upgrade including membrane backwash tank, equipment platforms and grating systems, coordinate integration of the improvements with the City’s existing SCADA system; Facility upgrades to existing building and building systems including membrane Building HVAC heating, ducting, and control systems modifications, maintenance Building HVAC heating conversion (electric to natural gas), and membrane Building 2nd Floor Office space improvements; Energy efficiency improvements including power monitor installation and HVAC control system.
